CINEMA LUNA | FILM INSPIRED BY THE IMAGINATION OF THE MOON | LA FESTA DI ROMA 2019 | 01.01.2019

Two authors of research and video art cinema, Virginia Eleuteri Serpieri 

and Gianluca Abbate, make a film for the Festa di Roma of New  Year 2019, 

inspired by the imagination of the Moon, in the year of the fiftieth 

anniversary of the first landing on our satellite. The materials used, thanks to 

the collaboration with Istituto Luce – Cinecittà and Raiteche, will allow 

to rework images of the historical Archivio Luce and suggestions 

from the famous “lunar walk” broadcast live by RAI on the occasion 

of the first moon landing, using digital animation techniques 

and CGI (Computer Generated Image).
