The 11th edition of the Now&After International Video Art Festival will take place this year, presenting the best works submitted for the competition by video artists from around the world. Thirty artists from Australia, Russia, Germany, Uzbekistan, France, India, Italy, Cuba, Great Britain, Japan, Lithuania, Brazil, Estonia, Austria, Argentina, USA, and South Africa will participate in Now&After’22. The theme of Now&After’22 is THE POSSIBLE AND THE IMPOSSIBLE . “The only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way past them into the impossible”.   Actions 1 Actions 1, a brief program of short films, addresses the question of time  through five recent works. It features experimental cinema practitioners from  Finland (Niina Suominen), Canada (Charlotte Clermont, Ed Janzen and Penny  McCann) and Italy (Virginia Eleuteri Serpieri). Dal 15 al 19 ottobre alle ore 21:00 presso il Teatro Garbatella di Roma, si svolgeranno una serie di live performance innovative dedicate all’ibridazione tra le arti. Il progetto, ideato e promosso dalla Fondazione Archivio Audiovisivo del Movimento Operaio e Democratico, fa parte della rassegna L’Aperossa UnArchive e rientra nell’ambito della Festa del Cinema di Roma, sezione “Risonanze”. A cominciare, il 15 ottobre, saranno i videoartisti Gianluca Abbate e Virginia Eleuteri Serpieri con una nuovissima video-performance artistica dal titolo “Nuovo mondo”, frutto dell’incontro tra cinema documentaristico e arti figurative.
